In 2012, iMAL launches a new service for supporting artists in the exhibition of their projects : an agency dedicated to the distribution of digital arts.
We propose a first selection of projects that were shown - and for some awarded - in several international festivals (Ars Electronica, Transmediale, Japan Media Arts, FILE, STRP,...) and that we think have the potential to reach a large audience.
As a distribution agency, iMAL becomes the middleman between artists and cultural institutions, art centers, curators, event producers (festivals, symposium,…). iMAL makes sure that the exhibition of the works goes smoothly by managing the executive production (transport, installation, maintenance,…) and takes care that the commitments to the artists are respected (contract, quality, copyrights,…).
Beyond these practical aspects, iMAL Agency wishes to let new audiences discover media art projects we like by providing a professional service to art&culture institutions and professionals to show them to their public.
