ABOUT SALLY'S RESIDENCY AT IMAL.
Sally's work explores how the blending and merging of the physical and digital selves is creating new realities and perceptions of ourselves and the world around us. How we project fragmented realities into the digital realm, and how these realities reflect and project back onto the physical realm.
This research will be carried out in the form of an installation. A camera will be used to capture the image of the participant's face be processed in TouchDesigner to produce a variety of outputs that will be projected onto a number of deformed 3d faceless sculptures, demonstrating this fragmentation and distortion of the self.
