For our residency in collaboration with A Two Gogs Company, the jury has unanimously agreed to choose Winju's project 'Medical Black Metal’ : "a raw and sarcastic universe where the medicalized body meets noise, metal, and tech".
Our jury — composed of the teams from A Two Dogs Company and iMAL — appreciated Medical Black Metal for its compelling exploration of the (black and white) spaces, its low-tech aesthetics, and the critical take on the body-machine relationship strongly aligned with our shared interest in other approaches to digital creation and performative practices.
