Open call: 25AV
Kiosk Radio, Radio Raheem and Radio 80000 announce 25AV – a new platform for audiovisual arts and performance – and launch an open call for artists.
Through 25AV, the partner radios wish to foster cooperation between music producers and visual artists across Europe, and promote under-the-radar talent from the music and visual arts scenes – using online radios to push the independent artists beyond their borders.
The open call launching today invites music producers and visual artists to partner up in pairs and submit their joint candidature by 14 October. Each pair must be composed of artists based in different European countries.
Through an independent committee, the project will select 18 duos who will be commissioned to create an exclusive audiovisual work of up to 25 minutes in length.
25AV is set to capture the interest of music and visual arts enthusiasts from Europe and beyond, both online and offline.
iMAL, together with Triennale Teatro (Milano) and ZIRKA (Munich) are partners of the project, and will host the offline programme of 25AV.
