"In January and February 2021, along the south east coast of England, I filmed several hours of video with a drone. Belgian electronic artist Peter Van Hoesen sculpts sounds for many different environments: the club, the home, the gallery or the museum. He does so with a true sense of personality. His work combines a forward-looking perspective on electronic music with a clear technical understanding of how sound influences perception.

On his label Time to Express he releases textural, physical compositions; he also records to great acclaim as Sendai alongside Yves De Mey. His collaboration with Dutch visual artist Heleen Blanken was presented around the world at events such as Mutek, Grey Area SF, Martin Grobius Bau and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. He continues to explore the relationship between sound and visuals through various ongoing research projects.
