Nine video works by seven artists from six countries.

The exhibition maps the various narratives that shape a young person’s consciousness and perception from the childhood age to late adolescence, in various parts of the world. It samples the variety of genres in video art: computer animation, cartoon, documentary, fiction, photo projections, video installation.

On June 13, iMAL will participate with many other actors to this event on Smart City and (digital) Cultures at Flagey. We will have an exhibition, a presentation workshop on our digital cultures activities, and a round table around digital preservation with Packed. Check the programme on smartcity.brussels.

Material Want by JODI and Matthew Plummer-Fernandez is a project and exhibition produced by iMAL in 2016. Some part of it will be shown at Prima Material, Fiber Festival, Amsterdam, 11-14 May 2017. More on 2017.fiberfestival.nl.

Every year in April, Brussels hosts several art fairs such as Art Brussels, YIA Art Fair or POPPOSITIONS, as well as many exhibitions, like Shiv Integer.
